Merial.

Merial names Dennis Tomaso chief information officer and head of shared business services. His responsibilities include global information technology and e-business, customer care and distribution, and finance and communications. Tomaso will be based at Merial's headquarters in Duluth, Ga. Before joining Merial, Tomaso served as vice president of supply chain information technology at Rhone-Poulenc and then assisted Hoechst and Rhone-Poulenc in their merger transition to Aventis.
