A Report on Mental Illness in Canada, released by the Mood Disorders The mood or affective disorders are mental disorders that primarily affect mood and interfere with the activities of daily living. The report, which covers a wide-ranging list of mood disorders from schizophrenia to eating disorders eating disorders, in psychology, disorders in eating patterns that comprise four categories: anorexia nervosa, bulimia, rumination disorder, and pica. Anorexia nervosa is characterized by self-starvation to avoid obesity. and suicidal behaviour, states that mental illnesses can be treated effectively, and estimates that 20 percent of Canadians will personally experience a mental illness in their lifetime.
