ROSEBURG - The Douglas County Douglas County is the name of twelve counties in the United States:

 sheriff's office has arrested two suspects in a string of armed robberies in Lane and Douglas counties.

Nathan Blaine Goin, 21, and Billy Dale Davis Dale Davis may refer to:

, 19, were arrested Tuesday after being discovered in brush behind a residence near Tiller in southeast Douglas County. U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management officers helped deputies and a police dog find the suspects.

The crime spree began with armed robberies a short time apart in Creswell and Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  late Nov. 28, according to a Douglas County sheriff's office news release. After a chase of several miles, the truck crashed and the suspects ran away.

 area home and found the robbery suspects had been staying there. They also found marijuana plants, a firearm and methamphetamine, according to the news release. One of the robbery suspects arrived at the house while officers were still there, but he escaped, attempting to run down one of the deputies, the news release said.

The arrests came after a Forest Service ranger spotted a vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects. Goin and Davis were being held at the Douglas County Jail on charges of felony probation violation.
