Membership.AASA AASA American Association of School Administrators AASA Asian American Student Association AASA Association of Academies of Sciences in Asia AASA Aging and Adult Services Administration AASA Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army experienced a 1.6 percent dip in membership. Membership remains a concern as districts consolidate because the pool of those eligible for membership is reduced. We do continue to encourage individuals to join and in FY 97-98 we will begin conducting a member-get-a-member campaign. AASA continues to work closely with the state associations to recruit and retain members with a priority on recruiting first-time superintendents, women and minorities.
