 member Mary Coulombe, CF, was recently named the chief of Natural Resources at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. With a diverse career in both the public and private sectors, Coulombe will be responsible for the development, management and preservation of the land and natural resources on Civil Works lands and waters, including environmental compliance, outdoor recreation management, shoreline management and natural resources management. This includes the 12 million acres of Civil Works lands, 4000 lakes and the 400 million visitors a year.

She will work closely with other federal agencies, partners and organizations interested in collaborative conservation, outdoor recreation and the protection of natural and cultural resources.

Previously, Coulombe worked for the U.S. Forest Service in a variety of positions, including land use planner (Oregon Oregon, city, United States
Oregon, city (1990 pop. 18,334), Lucas co., NW Ohio, a suburb adjacent to Toledo, on Lake Erie; inc. 1958. It is a port with railroad-owned and -operated docks. The city has industries producing oil, chemicals, and metal products.
