In the 511 West 25th Street space, artists enjoy 13-foot ceilings and eight-foot windows, with abundant natural light. Each floor houses seven to nine studios and galleries, ranging from approximately 500 to 3,000 SF. The four-story building at 521 West 25th St. offers studios of 600 to 3,700 SF. Architect David Mandl designed a new lobby as a modern space with a clean, streamlined aesthetic. It boasts steel and glass storefronts, with 13-foot windows and 15-foot ceilings. "We are very excited to be creating major arts building in the Chelsea area," says Mandl, president of Meltzer/Mandl Architects.
