What a remarkable woman she is! Through all her trials and tribulations, she still manages to inspire. What a better world this is with her in it. I myself am a BC survivor, having undergone six rounds of chemo che·mo n. Chemotherapy or a chemotherapeutic treatment. and seven weeks of radiation. While it certainly wasn't a "walk in the park," my experience and the experience of many other women has not been as devastating dev·as·tate tr.v. dev·as·tat·ed, dev·as·tat·ing, dev·as·tates 1. To lay waste; destroy. 2. To overwhelm; confound; stun: was devastated by the rude remark. as Melissa's. Perhaps her message regarding her treatment should be tempered with the acknowledgment acknowledgment, in law, formal declaration or admission by a person who executed an instrument (e.g., a will or a deed) that the instrument is his. The acknowledgment is made before a court, a notary public, or any other authorized person. that everyone is different and may not experience the same degree of difficulty. At this time chemotherapy and radiation are the best weapons we have to fight this disease.
