Meister Media Worldwide, Willoughby, Ohio, announces several personnel changes in its Cotton Media Group, which includes Cotton Grower magazine, Cotton Grower Plus, Cotton International and CI World Report. Bill Spencer, group editor of the Cotton Media Group, retired in January 2005 after 38 years with the company. With Spencer's retirement, Meister's current Cotton Media Group staff will provide new leadership. Frank Giles is promoted to editor for Cotton Grower and Cotton Grower Plus. Giles joined Meister's Cotton Media Group as senior editor in 2001 after gaining experience with the public relations agency of a major crop protection company and in the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Laurie Bennett Johnson is promoted to editor for Cotton International and CI World Report. She held a number of positions in business journalism prior to joining Meister as associate editor in 2000. Alan Rosca is promoted to international business manager for Cotton Media Group. Rosca joined Meister in 2003 as international sales representative for Cotton International and CI World Report.
