), a pioneer in the design and development of safety needle devices, today announced the grand opening of the production facility of Medisys' safety devices in Dimona, Israel on June 28, 2000.

Medisys president, Kerry Frey, attended a grand opening ceremony hosted at Dispomedic 2000 in Dimona, Israel. Dignitaries from the Israeli government and local civic leaders participated in the formal dedication of Dispomedic 2000, an Israeli manufacturer, for the production of CoverTip(TM) syringes. , has now entered the market to replace conventional devices in protecting healthcare workers against accidental needlesticks and sharps injuries. A tour of the plant was conducted where manufacturing equipment was observed in full operation producing CoverTip syringes.
