Established in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), NASDAQ is an automated quotation system that reports on :MDSLF) today issued its financial results for the year ended December 31, 1996. Reductions in operating costs operating costs npl → gastos mpl operacionales reflecting consolidation of operations in the Company's Jerusalem facility helped bring about a significant reduction in the Company's loss during 1996, as compared to 1995. In 1996, the Company had sales of $32,000 compared to $198,000 during 1995. Selling, general and administrative (SG&A) expenses for 1996 and 1995 were $1,187,000 and $1,368,000 respectively. Cost-cutting measures included a reduction in staff as well as combining of the Company's operations in its Jerusalem facility. Research and development costs, net of government grants, were $815,000 in 1996 compared to $1,023,000 in 1995.
