HIALEAH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2000

Medicore, Inc. (Nasdaq:MDKI) announced second quarter 2000 revenues of $14,762,000 and a net loss of $316,000 or $.06 per share compared to revenues of $12,527,000 and a net loss of $126,000 or $.02 per share for the second quarter of 1999.

Revenues for the first half of 2000 were $29,854,000 with a net loss of $686,000 or $.12 per share compared to revenues of $23,919,000 with a net loss of $413,000 or $.07 per share for the first half of 1999.
