Mediaseek to Provide QR Code Reader Application for Taiwan Mobile's Cellular Handsets.

Tokyo, Japan, Oct 22, 2005 - (JCNN) - Mediaseek (TSE: 4824) will provide a new version of its QR-code reader application for wireless handsets to be released by Taiwan Mobile shortly.

In line with the move, Taiwan Mobile will introduce and promote application services that use QR codes with the anticipation that use of QR codes in various scenes, including ringtone download and e-commerce, will accelerate in Taiwan with the coming of the 3G era in the island country.
