NEW YORK -- In response to burgeoning demand for broadband content, Medialink Worldwide Incorporated (Nasdaq: MDLK), a leading provider of diversified media services for professional communicators and marketers, announced today it will distribute online video and audio via an agreement with Reston, Va.-based Voxant, the first viral syndication network for online news. Medialink joins a roster of leading media organizations, including Reuters, MSNBC, CBS, and Bloomberg, whose news and content is distributed by Voxant.

Medialink, a major producer and distributor of short-form video and audio to broadcast and broadband media, will use Voxant's Viral Syndication Network(TM) to distribute informational video and audio clips produced for corporations and organizations. The content from Medialink also would provide full source disclosure and contact details for viewers to learn more about the product, service or issue profiled in the clip.

Voxant's Viral Syndication Network ingests, indexes and formats fully licensed rich media news content, enhances it for search engine retrieval, and distributes it to the millions of sites that comprise the "long tail" of the Web. Advertising and branding are attached and travel with the content in Voxant's patent-pending NewsCubes(TM), which Web publishers, bloggers and journalists can "mash", or pick up and drop from one Web site to another.
