Electronic Arts' recently opened Los Angeles office has added the following people to its computer/video game development team: David Wainstain, senior cinematics supervisor, comes from Dream Quest Images; Charles Anderson, effects animator, most recently served as atmospheric FX supervisor at Centropolis; Kevin Lee, effects animator, previously worked at Walt Disney Feature Animation; Larry White, character animator, worked at Walt Disney Studios; James Dargie, weapons modeler, most recently worked as a modeler for ESC Entertainment; Dr. Andrew Garrett joins EALA from Dragonstone Software; Jimmy Alamparambil comes from Check Six Studios; and Michael Myles, a sound designer and recording engineer, has worked at Vivendi Universal Net.

Sylvia Torres has been named local sales manager for TeleFutura's KFTR (Channel 46). She will help supervise the station's local sales staff and develop new business development strategies. Prior to joining TeleFutura, Torres was national sales manager for KWHY (Channel 22) and KVEA (Channel 52).
