also recently hired Sarah Burns as advertising account supervisor and
Katherine Lewis as account coordinator in the PR department. Burns, who
has 10 years of experience in the advertising industry, joins BGI from
Castle Advertising, where she led multimedia advertising and public
relations campaigns for several major accounts. In her new role, Burns
will be supporting the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter, the San Diego
Association of Governments and Concordia Homes-The Lido. Lewis, who
recently completed internships at Drasnin Communications and the San
Diego Regional Technology Alliance, will be responsible for supporting
the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter, Sandag, the Boxing Club and the

Public Affairs as an account executive. Murphy previously coordinated
the re-election campaign for San Diego Mayor Dick Murphy, organizing

advisory board. Strand is the founder and president of
Business-to-Business Marketing. Strand previously served as HTMA's
vice president of public relations and vice president of sponsorships.
The High-Tech Marketing Alliance, originally called the Computer
