SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK) announced today that Media Markt, the largest retail consumer electronics chain in Europe, has agreed to sell SanDisk's complete line of flash memory cards and card readers. Media Markt, headquartered in Ingolstadt, Germany, has more than 250 stores in nine European countries. The announcement was made at the annual CeBIT trade show where SanDisk is showing products in Hall 21, Stand D23.

Media Markt retail stores are located in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands and Poland. Distribution of the SanDisk products to Media Markt is being handled by HAMA, one of the largest distributors of electronic products in Europe.

SanDisk, the world's largest supplier of flash data storage products, designs, manufactures and markets industry-standard, solid-state data, digital imaging and audio storage products using its patented, high density flash memory and controller technology. SanDisk is based in Sunnyvale, Calif.
