These speakers will discuss the 2005 performance of the craft beer
segment which was up 9 percent over 2004 and continues to make gains
against wine and spirits as well as other segments of the beer
industry. Calagione is the keynote speaker for the 2006 Craft Brewers
Conference and a recipient of the Small Business Association's Small
Business Man of the Year.

Conference #2: Thanksgiving in April
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time
(2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT), Thursday, April 13
Speaker: Garrett Oliver, Brewmaster, Brooklyn Brewing and
author of "The Brewmaster's Table: Discovering the
Pleasures of Real Beer with Real Food" published by
HarperCollins.
Oliver will discuss the pairing of beers with a traditional
Thanksgiving dinner and those in attendance in Seattle will try
pairings of turkey and stuffing with several beers. This program marks
the launch of the Brewers Association's effort to promote craft beers
as the natural accompaniment for festive holiday meals.
