Media Alert: ARM Developers' Conference 'Product Lift-Off' Press/Analyst Event Brings Together Major Technology Announcements in Exclusive Forum.


SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Major new product and technology announcements at the ARM Developers' Conference are being presented Oct. 19 at a series of press events that will be organized by product category to accommodate the busy schedules of editors and analysts attending the show.

The conference's innovative Product Lift-Off program will bring together the latest breakthroughs from more than a dozen leaders in ARM-related graphics/multimedia hardware and software, software debug, system-on-chip (SoC), microcontroller, and security applications. The program is open exclusively to members of the press and analysts, who are invited to register now at http://www.rtcgroup.com/arm/press.php.

The three-day ARM Developers' Conference, produced by ARM, RTC See real time clock. , and ConVergence Promotions, runs Oct. 19 through 21 at the Santa Clara Convention Center and will include more than 195 classes, panel discussions, and labs. All events are free for registered members of the press and analysts.

Each concise 15-minute presentation in the Product Lift-Off press event will allow journalists to maximize the news they take away from the show. The complete schedule follows.

11:15 - 11:30 a.m. Oki Semiconductor

Oki presents two integrated 32-bit ARM9496E-S based microcontrollers. New features include USB USB
 in full Universal Serial Bus

Type of serial bus that allows peripheral devices (disks, modems, printers, digitizers, data gloves, etc.) to be easily connected to a computer.
