Media Advisory: Micromuse to Announce Financial Results for Q1 FY2005.


SAN FRANCISCO -- Micromuse Inc. (Nasdaq: MUSE), the leading provider of ultra-scalable, realtime business and service assurance software, will announce its first quarter fiscal 2005 earnings in a conference call and simultaneous Webcast on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 2:00 PM PT.

The conference call will be hosted by Lloyd Carney, Chairman and CEO, and will be available to the general public by dialing (800) 762-4832 (domestic) or (480) 629-9037 (international). It will also be broadcast at www.micromuse.com.

A replay of the call will be available by dialing (800) 475-6701 (domestic) or (320) 365-3844 (international). The access code, 768352, will be operational from Wednesday, January 26, at 7:15 PM PT through Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 11:59 PM PT. A replay of the Webcast will also be available on the Micromuse Web site.
