MedServe Announces Acquisition of Envirosolve; Purchase Adds Customers and Services, Puts Company in 5 New States.


HOUSTON -- MedServe, a leading provider of medical waste management services, announced today it has purchased Envirosolve, LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

, in a transaction that adds $6.8 million in additional revenues, expands the company's geographic and customer base and brings added capabilities to existing clients.

It is the ninth acquisition since September 2004 for Houston-based MedServe, which was created through the merger of Med-Shred, Inc and Enserv, LLC.

Based in Tulsa, Okla., Envirosolve has facilities and operations in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Oregon.

MedServe officials said the acquisition represented the latest example of how the company's business strategy - which focuses on growth of customers, service area, and capabilities - was continuing to yield success.

"This broadens our geographical presence considerably," said Michael M. Fields, President of MedServe. "We are now strongly positioned to be competitive in the West, Southwest, Midwest, and Southeast.
