MedAssets Net Revenue Systems Signs Agreement with St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers for Revenue Cycle Solutions.


ATLANTA -- MedAssets Net Revenue Systems announced today that a three year agreement has been signed with St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers (SVCMC SVCMC Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers (New York) ) to implement a suite of products to enhance revenue cycle operations. MedAssets' charge capture auditing tool, CCA (1) (Common Cryptographic Architecture) Cryptography software from IBM for MVS and DOS applications.

.Net Pre-bill, will review 100% of detailed patient bills to identify missed and over charges on a pre-bill basis; the strategic pricing tool, CRM.Net, will ensure defendable and compliant pricing of services; and the chargemaster monitoring and maintenance tool, BPI.Net, will maintain the integrity of charge data. MedAssets Net Revenue Systems' products will work with and improve upon SVCMC's existing IT assets.

SVCMC, based in New York, NY, includes eight facilities in Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, Westchester, and Brooklyn. In 2003, SVCMC recorded more than 1,500,000 outpatient visits, 77,000 home care visits and 98,000 inpatient discharges. Its emergency rooms, which include three Level One Trauma centers, received 275,000 visits in that same year.
