Mecar.

Mecar has received collective ammunition orders totalling more than $ 47 million from its traditional customers located in South America and the Middle East. These new orders call for Mecar to deliver its 90 mm and 120 mm ammunition over the following 18 months. This sale of the 120 mm rounds, which are fully qualified by the US Army, is unique in that it provides the first electrically initiated mortar ammunition. Electric initiation is a feature that, the company mentions, enhances safety and reliability.
