Meanwhile in London ....London's second architecture biennale The name Biennale is Italian and means "every other year", describing an event that happens every 2 years. One of the most important Biennales is an art exhibition that takes place for three months in Venice — the Venice Biennale — but there are numerous others: A host of activities will take place in the ten days beginning Friday 16 June, not least an exhibition of possible futures for the Farringdon Road Farringdon Road Farringdon Road is a road in Clerkenwell, Central London, part of the A201 road connecting King's Cross to Elephant and Castle. It goes south-east from King's Cross, crossing Roseberry Avenue, then turns south crossing Clerkenwell Road before going past and its environs, organised by The Architectural Review The Architectural Review is a monthly international architectural magazine published in London since 1896. Articles cover the built environment which includes landscape, building design, interior design and urbanism as well as theory of these subjects. with consultants Jackson Coles and Lee Mallett. Seven design teams, each with a property adviser, have been invited to create masterplans for the area, and to propose a building or public space within the plan.
