Mealey and Swit named to Halls of Fame.Michael P Mealey, president of Mealey Publications Inc., becomes the first inductee to the Newsletter Publishers Assn. Hall of Fame who was not a founding member of NPA--a sign of both the maturing of the association and the accomplishments of Mealey. After eleven years as a reporter at McGraw-Hill, Mealey joined Andrews Publications. In 1984, with the encouragement of his wife and vice president, Judy, he struck out on his own. They began Mealey Publications in the basement of their home and rapidly built the company to become one of the leading publishers of litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right.
