Me and My Pet.

LUCY Adamson, a customer care/admininsatration worker for Stockton Borough Council Children's Centres tells us about her pets.

What pets do you have? I have two dogs, a rescue dog called Molly who is a mongrel mongrel

of mixed or uncertain breeding; said of dogs in particular but also used adjectivally to refer to any species.
and Cassie a Lhasa Apso Lhasa apso (lä`sə ăp`sō), breed of small, alert nonsporting dog developed in Tibet many centuries ago. It stands about 11 in. (27.9 cm) high at the shoulder and weighs from 13 to 15 lb (5.9–6.8 kg). .

What does your pet do that makes you laugh? Cassie is my little baby because I've had her since she was 12 weeks old. It sounds stupid to those who aren't pet lovers but she's helped me through a lot. When my alarm goes off on a morning she knows it's time for me to get up so goes and fetches her favourite toy, jumps on my bed and waits for me to play, if I don't move she pulls the covers off me.

Any bad habits? Unfortunately due to Molly's terrible upbringing she has a lot of bad habits and she is a lot of hard work but if it wasn't for us giving her a home she would have been put down. She is so affectionate and if she sees you cry she can tell and comes and rests her head on your knee and tries to lick your face.

If your pets could speak what would they say? Cassie has a one track mind so she would probably talk about food or complain about my singing when I'm home alone.

What do you remember about your first ever pet? My first ever pet was Susie a golden lab who was so well behaved Adj. 1. well behaved - (usually of children) someone who behaves in a manner that the speaker believes is correct; "a well-behaved child"
well-behaved
. When I was a baby I had hold of her lead and my mum said "whatever you do do not let go". Susie then chased some seagulls into the sea and took me with her - but I never let go.

If you could keep any animal in the world what would it be and why? I'd love to have the money to rescue more dogs like Molly because it makes me so sad to know that so many dogs will die in kennels ken·nel 1
