The Foundation's Research Grant program provides funding to emerging investigators for scientifically based, clinically relevant research projects related to the effectiveness of physical therapist practice. Grants awarded in 2003 will address the following areas: * Evaluating the effectiveness of physical therapist interventions as related to questions 3.6 or 3.7 of APTA's Clinical Research Agenda. * Evaluating the effectiveness of physical therapist interventions for older adults. * Evaluating the effectiveness of common physical therapist interventions for children with high incidence special needs. * Evaluating the effectiveness of physical therapist interventions.
