 McLOUTH STEEL PLANS LAND SALE TO SURVIVE
 DETROIT, March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Crain's Detroit Business reports in


its Monday, March 9, edition that financially troubled McLouth Steel in Trenton hopes to sell vacant land it owns in order to raise cash to sustain the company's life.
 In the Downriver community of Gibraltar alone, McLouth owns 1,500 vacant acres of land. McLouth is in its worst cash crisis since 1988, when the company converted to employee ownership to keep from going under.
 The flat-rolled steelmaker has 1,650 employees.
 In a separate story, Crain's reports on turmoil within the real estate arm of pizza magnate Thomas Monaghan's Domino's Pizza empire.
 The exclusive Crain's story reports on allegations that the real estate division lost money in recent years because key executives within the division were hired for their religious affiliations and not because of their business acumen.
