Savanco's knowledge of vanadium process recovery provides McKenzie Bay with the technical capacity to optimize its new process for production of specialty vanadium chemicals at a research & development 'pilot plant' operation in Ontario, Canada before deployment at the Lac Dore vanadium project. (PR-Dec 3, 2002 'McKenzie Bay to begin Vanadium Production in 2003').

Savanco principals, Chemical Engineers D. Stuart Bradbury and George Annandale, have over sixty years of combined experience in recovery methodology for various minerals, especially vanadium involving more than a dozen vanadium projects on three continents.

Savanco's technical background extends to all aspects of vanadium processing and recovery including complete detailed design engineering, turnkey equipment supply and commissioning assistance from Magnetite magnetite (măg`nətīt), lustrous black, magnetic mineral, Fe3O4. It occurs in crystals of the cubic system, in masses, and as a loose sand.  concentrate roasting through to finished V2O5 fused flake, V2O5 calcining plants, Ammonium Metavanadate precipitation, pellet leach plants, and operating a vanadium refinery.

Bradbury has had on-going involvement in the South Africa Vanadium Industry since 1974 through IMS (1) See IP Multimedia Subsystem.

Process Plant (Pty) Ltd, a Company he founded in 1974, provided engineering, design, recovery plants, dryers, filters, calciners and other key unit components for all major South Africa vanadium producers.

While employed by Union Carbide, Annandale managed construction and production of two Vanadium process units and was appointed General Manager followed by Managing Director for Vanadium operations in 1977.
