McKESSONHBOC Names Executives to ITB Senior Leadership Positions.

McKesson HBOC, Inc. (NYSE:MCK) announced today a series of appointments to key positions in its Information Technology Business (ITB), including three at the executive level.

McKessonHBOC has named Matt Marshall senior vice president of sales at ITB, William A. Salmon, senior vice president and chief information officer and Robert McNeill president of a newly formed ITB Strategic Solutions Group.

Marshall, who most recently served as national vice president of sales for McKessonHBOC's Automated Healthcare business, will manage all ITB enterprise software sales activities, including a sales team of more than 500. He brings 15 years experience selling software and automation products and services to the acute care market, spanning both the information technology and supply management segments.

Marshall began his sales career with HBO & Company (HBOC) in 1985 and joined Automated Healthcare in 1995.

During his tenure at Automated Healthcare, Marshall created strategic sales and account executive teams and grew the company's revenues at a compound rate of 100 percent per year over the past five years. Dean Paluch will succeed Marshall as national vice president of sales for McKessonHBOC's Automated Healthcare.

Salmon joins ITB from Healthcare Delivery Systems, a business of McKessonHBOC's Pharmaceutical Partners Group, where since 1996 he has been vice president, information systems. He will be responsible for ITB's internal information systems and information system interfaces with other McKessonHBOC units. Prior to joining HDS, Salmon held a series of information system management positions at American Express.

McNeill most recently served as president and chief operating officer of DAOU Systems, a leading systems integration services company. As president of ITB's Strategic Solutions Group, he will be responsible for accelerating the growth of its professional services offerings. The Strategic Solutions Group includes ITB's Outsourcing Services Group and Connect Technology Group.

In addition, ITB has announced the following internal senior-level promotions: Tom Aikens, vice president and general manager of the Resource Management Group; Jim FitzGibbons, vice president of corporate business services; Evie Jett, executive director of national accounts; Anan Khaldi, vice president of operations for Series 2000 and Impact 2000; Jim Stewart, senior vice president and general manager of the Amherst Product Group; Leslie White, vice president of communications.

In its UK division, ITB promoted Bryan Wrighton to senior vice president of the European Operations Group, which encompasses the UK business plus the newly acquired McKessonHBOC (France) SA and McKessonHBOC (Netherlands) BV businesses, and Mike Kingswood to vice president and general manager of McKessonHBOC (UK).
