McIntyre-Gibson. (2003 Wedding Register).


Laura Katherine McIntyre and Derek Randall Gibson were united in marriage January 19, 2002, at Galloway United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism).  in Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Q. McIntyre of Jackson. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gibson of Bristol, Tennessee.

Music was provided by the Mississippi Symphony String Quartet.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown embroidered em·broi·der

The groom's brother, Chad Gibson, served as best man. Groomsmen were John Helms, Patrick Christovich, Travis Parrott, Ryan Johnson, Nick Walters, and Josh Gregory. Ushers were Michael Buccafusco, Charles Willoughby, Eric Mueller, Shaun Murie, and James Rocks.

Twenty top florists from the southeast area came together to help create the wedding and reception flowers. The church was decorated with a large explosion arrangement of white stock, Red Intuition roses, Jade roses, white dendrobium orchids, and white hydrangeas. Flowers adorned the top and corners of the tent. The bride's cake was decorated with an organza diamond-patterned ribbon that was embellished with seed pearls. The cake was surrounded with white stock, hydrangea, orchids, and roses. Behind the cake was a sheer curtain that fell from the balcony.
