McGraw-Hill sells Vista Research to Guidepoint Global.
The McGraw-Hill Companies (New York) has sold Vista Research to Guidelpoint Global (New York), a provider of primary research services to global investors. No terms of the deal were given.
Guidepoint said the deal creates an industry network of over 130,000 global experts, "strengthening (our) leadership in the expert network field and building on its healthcare expertise with Vista's depth and breadth" in its fields of activity.
Vista Research is a subscription-based information service designed to support institutional money managers, The company was founded in 2001 to connect clients to individuals with operational experience in industries such as technology, media, telecommunications, retail/consumer, energy, aerospace and healthcare. The industry professionals, all members of Vista's Society of Industry Leaders (SIL), participate in structured discussions with clients in which both SIL members and clients "understand their respective obligations regarding regulations, securities laws and confidentiality."
Guidepoint Global was established in 2003 as a global consulting and research firm and provides customized information to equity firms, mutual funds, hedge funds, consultancies and multinational corporations across a range of industries.
