McDonald's Honors Area Principal With Prestigious Award.

McDonald's of Central Indiana today, along with the National Association of Secondary School Principals The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) is a United States educational advocacy organization consisting of secondary school principals. ), honored Ruth Buell, assistant principal at Noblesville High School Noblesville High School is a public high school in Noblesville, Indiana, U.S.A. The school has approximately 2,100 students in grades 9 to 12. The 2007-2008 school year will mark the first year that Noblesville will only support grades 10 to 12 because of the Noblesville Freshman  in Noblesville, IN as the 2000 Assistant Principal of the Year. Buell is one of 55 assistant principals across the country McDonald's and NASSP are recognizing for their individual contributions to a variety of local educational initiatives.

Buell has been an assistant principal at Noblesville High School for seven years and has been credited for implementing the procedures of an Out of School Suspension program, volunteer, random drug testing, open campus, and excessive Absence Review board.

"It is a great honor as well as a humbling experience to be recognized for working in a career that I love. I am very proud to be at Noblesville High School and to work with a wonderful staff," stated Ruth Buell.

The Assistant Principal of the Year Awards recognize educators from across the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  in honor of their individual accomplishments to improve education -- more specifically, initiatives that make education more relevant for students. McDonald's and NASSP have sponsored the Assistant Principal of the Year Awards since 1991.
