McCain has supported many issues that our party stands for.   • Evan Bayh (1955), U.S.
 than Republicans. McCain also knows first hand how the Bush people used race against him in the South because of the color of his adopted daughter. That alone is still an open wound for McCain. Defeating Bush would help to heal it.
