Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has nominated Olga Garay as general manager of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Rafael Lopez as executive director of the Commission for Children, Youth and Their Families for Los Angeles.


Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa Antonio Ramon Villaraigosa (born Antonio (Tony) Ramon Villar, Jr. on January 23, 1953) is the mayor of Los Angeles, California. He is the first Latino mayor of Los Angeles since Cristobal Aguilar in 1872.  has nominated Olga Garay as general manager of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Rafael Lopez as executive director of the Commission for Children, Youth and Their Families for Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. . Garay was most recently an independent producer and performing arts consultant. Lopez was the interim executive director of the CCYF CCYF Center for Children, Youth, and Families (Auburn University, Alabama)  of Los Angeles since August 2006 and before that, the deputy director for the CCYF of San Francisco.
