Mayo, Temme, McNeil: win board positions.

 meeting in June will be Diane Mayo, R.T.(R)(CT), of Florence, Miss., as president-elect; James Temme, M.P.A., R.T.(R)(QM), FASRT, of Omaha, Neb., as vice president; and Dawn McNeil, M.S., R.T.(R)(M), RDMS RDMS Relational Database Management System
RDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
RDMS Research Data Management Services (University of Delaware, Newark, DE) 
, of Durango, Colo., as secretary-treasurer.

"I am honored to represent members of our association by being an advocate for the profession and our patients in the upcoming three years. I hope to have an open door policy and work toward making decisions that will best support our profession and future development," said Ms. Mayo, who currently is ASRT vice president.

Mr. Temme, current secretary-treasurer, said he is excited about continuing on the ASRT Board of Directors for the upcoming year. "The CARE bill and RA licensing are just a few of the items on our plate. It is an exciting time to be a member of the ASRT, and I am fortunate to be on the Board to help direct those activities."

Ms. McNeil is new to the Board. "I would like to say 'thank you' from the bottom of my heart to everyone who gave me their vote of confidence," she said. "I have some huge boots to fill, but I know I will get the help and gudiance necessary to perform the job. I can't wait to get started!"

Voting was open Feb. 14-March 14, and 2,421 of the 124,406 members eligible to vote cast a ballot, representing a 1.95 percent participation rate.

In addition to officers of the ASRT, members voted for chapter delegates to serve in the House of Delegates at the 2009 meeting. They are:
