Maxwell Laboratories Inc. announces fourth-quarter and fiscal 1995 results.


SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1995--Maxwell Laboratories Inc. (NMS See NetWare Management System. :MXWL) Thursday Thursday: see week.  announced its fourth quarter and fiscal 1995 results for the period ended July 31.

Sales for the fourth quarter were $21,988,000 compared with $22,248,000 in the same period a year ago. The company posted a profit of $219,000, or 8 cents per share Cents per share

, vs. a net loss of $1,324,000, or 49 cents per share in the fourth quarter last year.

Fiscal 1995 sales were $75,004,000, resulting in net income of $315,000, or 12 cents per share. Sales last year were $85,463,000, with a loss of $1,687,000, or 63 cents per share. Results for the third and fourth quarters last year included write-offs and other one-time charges at the Balboa Balboa, town (1990 pop. 2,751), Colón prov., in the former Panama Canal Zone, on the Gulf of Panama. The port for Panama City, Balboa was the administrative headquarters of the Panama Canal Zone. It was also the site of a U.S. navy base (closed 1999).  division totaling approximately $3 million.
