MaxImage!

Taglined "The Independent Journal of the Large Format Motion Picture Industry," the monthly MaxImage! is "essentially a one-man operation," says editor-publisher James Hyder. "Although I have a regular columnist columnist, the writer of an essay appearing regularly in a newspaper or periodical, usually under a constant heading. Although originally humorous, the column in many cases has supplanted the editorial for authoritative opinions on world problems.  and occasional contributors, and my father [a retired copy editor] reads the copy, the rest is all my doing: writing, editing, layout, original photography, and stuffing 400 copies a month into envelopes. And I create all my own direct mail pieces, too."

MaxImage! covers the large format cinema industry, in both articles and news briefs, and reviews new releases, works-in-production, and conferences. Six pages are devoted to hundreds of large format bookings worldwide.
