Maureen Henegan honored by Girls Inc.


Girls Inc. honored Maureen A. Henegan at the annual Girls Inc. New York Luncheon at the New York Hilton on March 20.

Each year, the nonprofit organization, whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, honors women at the pinnacle of achievement--women who by their daily example give girls the inspiration to achieve their highest goals.

Chief executive officer and Chair of the Board of Henegan Construction, Maureen Henegan is a highly regarded leader in the construction industry. Over the course of her career, she has been involved with nearly every aspect of the industry in New York. An attorney and member of the New York State Bar Association The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), with about 72,000 members, is the largest voluntary association of lawyers in the United States. The NYSBA was founded in Albany on November 21 1876. New York lacks an integrated bar, and the NYSBA does not license lawyers in the state. , Henegan serves on the Boards of New York Building Contactors Association, New York Building Congress and Nontraditional Employment for Women and is a member of the Building Owners' and Managers' Association of New York, the Young Presidents' Organization The Young President's Organization (YPO) is an international chapter-driven non-profit organization made up of company presidents from around the world.
