Maureen Henegan honored by Girls Inc.

Girls Inc. honored Maureen A. Henegan at the annual Girls Inc. New York Luncheon at the New York Hilton on March 20.

Each year, the nonprofit organization, whose mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, honors women at the pinnacle of achievement--women who by their daily example give girls the inspiration to achieve their highest goals.

Chief executive officer and Chair of the Board of Henegan Construction, Maureen Henegan is a highly regarded leader in the construction industry. Over the course of her career, she has been involved with nearly every aspect of the industry in New York. An attorney and member of the New York State Bar Association, Henegan serves on the Boards of New York Building Contactors Association, New York Building Congress and Nontraditional Employment for Women and is a member of the Building Owners' and Managers' Association of New York, the Young Presidents' Organization, and Professional Women in Construction, which has honored her with its Executive Achievement Award in 1995 and Business Leadership Award in 2001.
