, the largest maker of Serta-brand mattresses, announced recently that it will build a new $11.25 million manufacturing facility in New Baltimore New Baltimore is the name of several towns in the United States:
  • New Baltimore, Michigan

  • New Baltimore, Pennsylvania

The company will begin construction of the 232,000 s/f facility in Spring 2005 and plans to be operational by the fall.

The company expects to create 240 new jobs over the next three years.

National Bedding is buying 16 acres of land in the Kalkberg Commerce Park, which straddles the towns of New Baltimore and Coxsackie. The entire 70-acre site is being made shovel-ready by the Greene County Industrial Development Agency, including municipal water and sewer, electric, natural gas, telephone, fiber and cable, as well as all necessary permits.
