Mattel Suit: Mattel Inc. filed a patent lawsuit seeking to block Dorel Industries Dorel Industries Inc. (TSX: DII and NASDAQ: DIIB) is a Montreal, Quebec-based company which designs and manufactures for three areas: juvenile, home furnishings and recreational/leisure. Dorel employs approximately 4,800 people.  Inc. from selling a child's racing car that would compete with the El Segundo-based toy-maker's Fisher-Price unit. Dorel's Safety 1st Corvette corvette, small warship, classed between a frigate and a sloop-of-war. Corvettes usually were flush-decked and carried fewer than 28 guns.
