, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 28, 1998--Master Graphics, Inc. (Nasdaq: MAGR) today announced it has acquired Stephenson Printing of Alexandria, Virginia Alexandria is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 128,284. Located along the Western bank of the Potomac River, Alexandria is approximately 6 miles (9.6 kilometers) south of downtown Washington, DC. , a suburb suburb, a community in an outlying section of a city or, more commonly, a nearby, politically separate municipality with social and economic ties to the central city. In the 20th cent.  of Washington, D.C. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Stephenson Printing is a high-end web and sheet-fed commercial printer, with annual sales in excess of $30 million. The company does business with a broad range of corporations, associations, institutions, and publishers in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. market, one of the top 15 printing markets in America. Stephenson Printing, founded in 1959, has 170 employees. Founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  George Stephenson will remain with the company following the completion of the transaction, along with the rest of Stephenson Printing's senior management.
