Master Cheng Jincai of USCTF Leads a USA Team to Compete in the 3rd International Taijiquan Exchange Competition in Jiaozuo, China.HOUSTON -- In August 18th, Master Cheng cheng (chĕng, jĕng), Chinese stringed instrument similar to the zither. It is also spelled jeng and tseng. Jin Cai, Chairman of the USA Chen Tai Tai, peak, ChinaTai, peak: see Taishan, China.Tai, lake, ChinaTai (tī), lake, c.1,300 sq mi (3,370 sq km), on the border between Jiangsu prov. and Zhejiang prov., E China; second largest freshwater lake in China. Dotted with islands, it is one of China's most scenic areas. Chi Federation (USCTF) will lead the USA team to participate the 3rd International Taijiquan Exchange Competition Jiaozuo, China. In August 10th, Master Cheng received the authorization from the vice president of International Wushu Association and President of America National Wushu Federation, Mr. Wu TingKwai to lead the USA team to attend this major International event.At 5:30am to 7:30am in August 15th, the Channel 11, one of a major Television station in Houston will come to the USCTF to interview Master Cheng and the team USA. In the mean time, we will hope the best and success to the team. We also invite everyone in the community to watch this interview in the morning of August 15th. Master Cheng will lead 2 members and consultants of the Federation take off early in the morning of 16th, arriving in Jiaozuo in the 17th. The Chairman of the city government political coordination committee Mr. Jio KungPei, Jiozuo taijiquan Association, and city leaders invite Master Cheng and the team for a luncheon party at noon of August 18th. At the party, Master Cheng will accept interview from the media of Jiozuo city. Also, Master Cheng represents the USCTF donates one thousand US dollars to the Jiozuo taijiquan Association (the highest ranking official association in the founding city of Tai Chi tai chi (ti´ che´) [Chinese] a system of postures linked by elegant and graceful movements, originating in China, whose purpose is to balance yin and yang, creating inner and outer harmony. It improves cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and respiratory function and increases central nervous system function, and can be used for treating various conditions.). At 8:00pm, Master Cheng will invite the seniors of Chen's clan, the founding family of Chen's Tai Chi, to a dinning banquet to express his gratefulness to the Chen's ancestors and the families' seniors. In August 19th evening, the team arrives. In August 20th, a huge Opening ceremony will be held. Master Cheng, as one of the World well-known Tai Chi master, accepts the invitation to perform in the opening ceremony. In August 21st, all athletes from 50+ counties in the world with the police car leading the caravan will visit the founding place of Tai Chi the Chen's Village. The competition is holding between August 22nd and August 24th. In August 24th evening, Master Cheng again accepts the invitation of the Tournament official to perform in the Closing ceremony. Master Cheng led his students in the International Tai Chi Legacy 2005 held in Dallas, Texas in July 23-24 have collectively won 77 medals. We hope for the best success of his team again in this event. Master Cheng, an Official National Tai Chi Tournament Judge, is the only disciple of the 18th generation Grand Master Chen Zhao Kui in the Continent of North America. In April 2nd 2005, Master Cheng received Certificate of Honorary Citizen and Ambassador by Mayor Bill White. The State representative Al Green awarded Master Cheng Certificate of Special Recognition. Master Cheng has 30 years experience of teaching Tai Chi and has trained a large group of distinguish Tai Chi students.
