Massachusetts: MRPA recognizes community leaders.


The Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association recognized two people for their longstanding commitment to the parks and recreation field. The awards were announced at the association's annual state conference in Danvers, Mass.

Cynthia Erho, recreation director for the town of Greenfield Greenfield, town (1990 pop. 18,666), seat of Franklin co., NW Mass., at the confluence of the Deerfield and Green rivers, near their junction with the Connecticut; settled 1686, set off from Deerfield and inc. 1753. , Mass., received the Peter C. O'Brien Humanitarian Award, which was established by the MRPA's executive board in 1980. It is the highest honor bestowed by the MRPA MRPA Michigan Recreation and Parks Association
