MASISA MASISA S.A. is a forest products company headquartered in Chile with manufacturing operations in Chile, Argentina, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and the United States. Its manufactured products include solid wood, particleboard, medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and oriented strand , a Chilean forestry forestry, the management of forest lands for wood, water, wildlife, forage, and recreation. Because the major economic importance of the forest lies in wood and wood products, forestry has been chiefly concerned with timber management, especially reforestation, company, raised US$120 million in a
share offering in Chilean and U.S. markets. The money will help build a
plant as well as buy out minority stakes in its subsidiaries Forestal
