 Forest Products S.A. of Santiago, Chile Santiago, officially Santiago de Chile (Spanish: ), is the capital of Chile, and the center of its largest conurbation (Greater Santiago). , creating one of the largest forestry groups in Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies.  with assets of approximately $1.6 billion. It owns 368,000 hectares of forests in Chile, Argentina, Venezuela and Brazil. Products include sawn timber, doors and mouldings. The newly merged company is adopting the name Masisa USA and has moved its U.S. headquarters to Atlanta. The company also has a manufacturing plant in Charleston, SC.
