Maser expands Ontario plant.


When MaSeR Corp., Marblehead, Mass., started up its Barrie, Ontario For the electoral district, see .

Barrie is a city of 128,430 residents,<ref name="2006CensCommun" /> the 35th largest municipality in Canada.<ref name="2006CensMuniPops" /> It is located on Kempenfelt Bay, an arm of Lake Simcoe in Central
, Canada, facility in March of 2005, the concept was to provide service te its key client, co-located in Barrie, along with other electronic scrap recyclers throughout Canada. (See "System Upgrade" in the October 2005 issue of Recycling Today.)

MaSeR's technology incorporates a de-lamination process along with shredding and separation technology to provide maximum recovery of materials from electronic scrap.

Its main client and Barrie landlord Cable Recycling Inc. (CRI-GEEP) considers the MaSeR process key to the growth of its electronics recycling business.
