Masao Yukawa Background Information

Masao Yukawa is the associate director and senior strategic adviser to the managing director of the Information Systems and Services (ISS) Group, which is the focal point of all the high-technology activities of Japanese trading giant Mitsubishi Corp. He also serves as the general manager of Business Integration Service Office, which provides multi-divisional, cross-business group solutions to Mitsubishi's clients.

Prior to assuming his current post, Yukawa was general manager of the Corporate Business Design Office. Under the direction of Mr. Makihara, the president, the office led a corporate-wide reengineering effort to prepare Japan's best-known firm to face the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities presented by the 21st century.
