Maryann Suydam Joins UNICCO Executive Committee.

NEWTON, Mass. -- UNICCO[R] Service Company today announced that Maryann Gilligan Suydam has been appointed to UNICCO's Executive Committee. Internal and external Executive Committee members advise and help the $700 million privately-held integrated facilities services company set its strategic direction.

Suydam is a commercial real estate investment trust (REIT) veteran who has had management, financial, strategic and operational responsibilities for a 55 property, 13 million sf. portfolio in metropolitan Boston. Her strategic asset management experience includes acquisition, as well as disposition and extensive outreach to the regional business and real estate communities.

Suydam was most recently senior vice president of the Boston Region of Equity Office Properties Trust where, in addition to her direct responsibilities, she was also active in the Equity Office's Women In Management Network (WIMN), serving as a regional director and Advisory Board member.

Suydam earned a bachelor's degree from Boston College and a master's degree from Columbia University.

She serves on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy Board as vice chairman. She is a member of the Boston Harbor Association and also serves on the Board of Directors for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay. She is an executive director of the Artery Business Committee, a board member for Boston's Municipal Research Bureau and an overseer of The Children's Museum.

Her industry involvement includes membership in New England Women in Real Estate, (NEWIRE); she is also an Executive Board member and former Chairman of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
