Porfido is a light-emitting 'cobblestone' of frosted glass Frosted glass is produced by the acid etching of clear sheet glass, or sand-blasting. It has the effect of rendering the glass translucent, obscuring the view while still passing light.

Applications:
  • To obtain visual privacy while admitting light.
