Martindale-Hubbell and American Bar Association Launch ABA Network Lawyer Locator.

, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 1998-- Martindale-Hubbell and the American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Founded (1878) largely through the efforts of the Connecticut Bar Association, it is devoted to improving the administration of justice, seeking uniformity of law  (ABA), two venerable institutions serving the American legal profession, Thursday announced the debut of the ABA Network Lawyer Locator on the Internet.

This new service delivers information from the comprehensive Martindale-Hubbell database of more than 900,000 listings of lawyers and law firms This list of the world's largest law firms by revenue is taken from The Lawyer and The American Lawyer and is ordered by 2006 revenue:[1]

 exclusively through ABA Network, the ABA's official Web site.

In addition to the standard search criteria already available via the Martindale-Hubbell Lawyer Locator, the customized ABA version will provide the ability to select ABA membership as a search criteria and will feature the recognizable ABA logo for all member listings. The new site can be accessed on the ABA Network, located at http://www.abanet.org.

The official public launch of the ABA Network Lawyer Locator will take place during ABA TECHSHOW '98, March 26-28, at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Chicago. The site can be viewed by visitors to the Martindale-Hubbell booth (Booths No. 307 and No. 309) on the floor of the trade show.
